Stanmart Labs LLC, doing business as Mint Ebooks (“Mint Ebooks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides an AI-assisted workspace for planning, drafting, designing, and exporting ebooks. This policy applies to the Mint Ebooks website, account area, book studio, and related support communications (the “Service”).

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@mintebooks.com.

01

Information we collect

Account information

We collect information used to create and secure your account, such as your email address, display name, sign-in method, and authentication records. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic account information Google makes available for authentication.

Free resources and marketing email

When you request a free resource or opt in to marketing email, we collect your email address, consent record, source, delivery and sequence status, and related download activity. You do not need to join the marketing list to use the website.

Book and project content

We process the information you add to a project, including titles, topics, audiences, tone and style instructions, outlines, chapters, notes, cover prompts, generated artwork, edits, and export settings.

Usage, purchase, and subscription information

We keep records about plan status, credit use, project activity, digital-guide claims and downloads, and feature use. Stripe Managed Payments processes new payments and may provide us with customer, subscription, invoice, transaction, and payment-status information. Polar may continue to process legacy subscriptions created before the switch. Mint Ebooks does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Technical and support information

When you use the Service, we and our infrastructure providers may process device, browser, network, IP address, request, error, security, and diagnostic information. If you contact us, we collect your message and any details or attachments you choose to send.

02

How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure accounts and keep you signed in;
  • generate outlines, chapters, cover art, and publication files at your direction;
  • save, display, edit, and export your projects;
  • record digital-guide entitlements and provide protected downloads;
  • deliver requested free resources and, with your consent, practical product and publishing emails;
  • manage plans, credits, purchases, payments, renewals, and billing support;
  • send sign-in links, service messages, and support replies;
  • operate, troubleshoot, protect, and improve the Service; and
  • comply with law, enforce our terms, and prevent fraud or misuse.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where we ask for it.

03

AI processing

Mint Ebooks sends the instructions and project context needed for a requested generation to Cloudflare Workers AI. This processing is used to return the outline, manuscript text, or cover image you ask for and to operate the related product feature.

Use care with sensitive material.

Do not submit confidential information, sensitive personal data, or third-party content unless you have the right and a clear reason to use it in the Service.

04

How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, complete a transaction, comply with law, or protect rights and safety. Our current service providers include:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, databases, file storage, AI generation, network delivery, security, and operational logs;
  • Stripe Managed Payments as merchant of record for checkout, subscription management, tax handling, billing, and payment processing;
  • Resend for magic-link and transactional email delivery;
  • Amazon Web Services for Amazon SES delivery of requested resources and consented marketing email; and
  • Google when you choose Google as your sign-in provider.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or another organization involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards and legal requirements.

Mint Ebooks does not sell personal information or use your book content for third-party advertising.

05

Cookies and similar technologies

Mint Ebooks uses essential cookies and related browser storage to authenticate you, maintain sessions, remember necessary product state, and protect the Service. Payment or sign-in providers may use their own cookies when you interact with their services. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

06

Retention and security

We retain account and project information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Billing records, backups, and operational logs may follow different retention cycles.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please protect access to your email account and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

07

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a data-protection authority.

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future marketing messages from this sequence but does not disable your account, prevent necessary service messages, or revoke an ebook download you already requested.

To make a request, email hello@mintebooks.com from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. You can manage or cancel a paid subscription through the billing portal; cancellation does not itself delete your account or projects.

08

International processing

Mint Ebooks and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, transfers are handled using contractual, organizational, or other safeguards recognized by applicable law.

09

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Users must also meet the eligibility requirements in our Terms and Conditions.

10

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
